Radboud University Nijmegen is organising a Summer School on the Gut-Brain Axis

From 5 – 16 July 2021 Radboud University Nijmegen in The Netherlands will host a summer school about the gut-brain axis. This two-week course will be taught fully online.

The course is organised by Eat2beNICE project leader dr. Alejandro Arias Vasquez together with dr. Mirjam Bloemendaal and dr. Jeanette Mostert. They have invited international experts from the field to give lectures on gut microbiota, routes of the gut-brain communication, and state-of-the-art research on the associations between gut microbiota and behaviour. The course will also include hands on assignments to analyse microbiome data in R. No expertise in R is required, but a basic understanding is recommended. The aim of the course is to give researchers the basic skills and knowledge to start designing, interpreting and analysing their own studies on the gut-brain axis.

PhD students, post docs and professionals are invited to apply before 1 May 2021. Please note that the early bird discount ends on 1 March 2021.
